A new addition to the Uppingham suite of community activities is an embryo Bereavement Help Point which is currently recruiting volunteer counsellors. Several Rotarians have volunteered for Counsellor training and the Club has made £400 available to support the BHP with the costs of design and print services for the necessary brochures and publicity; The Rotary Foundation has provided 50% of the funding as a District Grant.
All printing now complete and the first tranche of volunteers are trained and active.
