We held our annual Chritmas Tinshake starting at Tesco on 9th November again out lcal Transform organistaiongave us details of more families than last year in need of support.  Because of covid we were not permitted by Tesco,  Morrisons or the train station to collect as normal under cover.  Tesco only allowed one collecting team,  Morrisons (whose customers are normally very generous) would not allow any collections, inclement weather prevented collections on the agreed days at the station, only Waitrose allowed our usual collecting rota where we gained more than last year. This  provided  a dilemma.  Our Treasurer solved this by obtaining a welcome donation from Wokingham United Charities which made up our deficit and allowed us to provide supermarket vouchers to 42 needy large families totalling  £1500.  (Vouchers were non transferable & precluded alcohol & tobacco
