Hawick's Rotarians had an unusual experience after their meal at Mansfield House Hotel last week when member George Hogg (re)introduced them to the concept of the Beetle Drive! For many this was an entirely new activity but for all it led to great hilarity, and frenzied dice-shaking. Sandy Bannerman, with the benefit of a law degree in understanding the rules achieved the highest score while at the other extreme Bobby Cairns showed a great need to practise his shaking. Much fun was had by all.
