Donations 2022 - A Summary of donations

Summary of what we have donated so far in 2022

Royal Wootton Bassett Town Rotary Club is very happy to announce that, following our recent fund raising events in the community and the ongoing generosity of all the residents, friends and visitors to the Town, we have been able to donate £5500 to four important charities. We have donated £2000 to SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity, £1500 to the Rotary "End Polio Now" fund, £1500 to the Rotary "Disaster Emergency Fund for Ukraine" and £500 to the local Youth Adventure Trust.

These donations have resulted from our 2021 Christmas Sleigh and Hamper Raffle activities, our 2022 Charity Calendar and some amazing Street Collections - especially the collection for the Ukraine appeal that achieved a record sum (for the Club) of £1287.

"Thank You" is just two little words, but the impact on the beneficiaries of the donations is absolutely huge. As your "Town" Rotary Club we continue to be immensely proud of our local Community and the way everyone steps up to help those less fortunate than themselves.

So, Thank You, people of RWB - and we'll see you soon!!
