This local charity has been making recordings of The Stroud News and Journal since 1982. The service is entirely free to its listeners, all of the volunteers are unpaid, and the charity relies solely on donations for its funding.
The charity is fundraising for more players which its listeners are supplied with free of charge to play their weekly USB sticks which hold local news, stories, magazine articles, occasional quizzes and other items of interest.
Nailsworth Rotary’s donation will enable Five Valleys Sound to purchase five machines which will be labelled thanking Nailsworth Rotary for its support.
