Rotary visit to Townmead allotments and Putney Town Rowing Club

Dear Friends,
The Rotary Club of Kew Gardens ( invite you, partners and friends to a tour of Townmead allotments, off Townmead Road/Kew Meadows Path, Kew TW9 4EN on Wednesday 13th. July at 18.30 hrs. and at 19.15 hrs. afterwards at the adjacent Putney Town Rowing Club, in the bar upstairs.

Entry to the allotments is at the far left corner of the free/unrestricted car park. The gate will be open….
We will be providing a couple of rounds of luxury mixed sandwiches per person in the bar area and numbers are strictly limited to the first 40  email confirmations to me by latest Monday 11th., which I will acknowledge, and will assure your booking.
Guests please pay minimum £10 cash donation to Rotarian Suzanne Sheffer in the Rowing Club bar area on arrival.  There will be a cash bar there until 21.00 hrs. Any surplus takings will go to our Rotary Ukraine Crowdfunder on our website.

Allotment-holder Jenny Sneesby has kindly agreed to talk to small groups about her bees on Plot No. 9.

Richard  will be on hand to explain a bit about allotments, and excite you about vegetable growing!

Rowing Club member John Hickling has agreed to not only waive the usual venue hire fee; and man the bar on the evening for us; but will also briefly talk through current PTRC activities.

Kew Fete.

Every Summer there are two Shows on Kew Green, Kew Fete and Kew Horticultural Show.


We run this event when ever we can, normally in St. Luke Hall, Kew.


It's not all work! Club visits are a real favorite!


This year we are running the event in association with the The Music Therapy Trust. We are looking forward to your support!!!
