Laptops4Schools

Help us to support your local schools by donating your unused laptops, alternatively you can Donate £25 for refurbishment

The recent pandemic hit many families hard, trying to juggle home-schooling with other responsibilities. This is made even harder when children do not have the equipment they need to attend their classes remotely. Many families just cannot afford the cost involved and their children are falling behind. The 'Digital Divide' is opening ever wider and is likely to continue well after the current crisis.

Now, facing another crisis with Energy, the cost of living tremendously is becoming more unaffordable. You can make a difference in their lives.

The government is providing laptops to schools to loan out to their children, but teachers say the need will far exceed the supply. Rotary is asking you to help fill this gap by donating unwanted laptops to its LAPTOPS4SCHOOLS project. All the donated devices will be properly handled, refreshed and made suitable for children to use.   If you have a spare laptop, you can donate it to us and we will refurbish it and donate it to the needy.  Alternatively, you can help us fund the refurbishment by donating £25.

LAPTOPS4SCHOOLS supports children based in the North West of England.

Give us a call to arrange for your unwanted laptop to find a new deserving home.

Together, we can make a difference!
