Donation to Prospect Hospice
28th Sept 2022 - Elaine Pickford from the Prospect Hospice receives a donation of £1400
Fellow rotarian John and his wife Valerie Hicks held a pig roast on the 14th August at their farm on behalf of Royal Wootton Bassett & District Rotary club In order to raise funds to gift to The Prospect Hospice. Interestingly, this was probably held on the hottest day of the year.
Elaine Pickford from the Prospect Hospice was invited to our Rotary Club lunch meeting on 28th September at Basset Down Golf Club where a cheque for the sum of £1400 was presented to her, which was gratefully accepted. This was the total sum raised by the event.In the attached picture from left to right are Valerie Hicks, Elaine Pickford from Prospect Hospice, Linda Locke Rotary Club President and John Hicks.
