2022 ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD (RYLA).

This years Club President presenting the RYLA Award to Megan

Rod Curtis, President of the Rotary Club of Stowmarket Gipping Valley presented Megan Baldry, the club’s 2022 Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) candidate with her certificate followingr a talk of her recollections of her RYLA experience. RYLA is an innovative leadership experience for young people to develop their skills as a leader and at the same time have some fun.  The course is run by a dedicated group of instructors at the Grafham Water Centre and lasts 7 days.  Megan stressed that the experience benefited her greatly and gave her a great deal more confidence in dealing with the various work and personal situations thrown up day to day.  The Rotary Club of Stowmarket Gipping Valley sponsors one or two candidates every year in partnership with business enterprises in the local area.  If you run a local company and have any young people on your staff who would benefit from a RYLA course please use the "Contact" area of this website.
