President's Handover

Colin hands over to Chrissie
Rotary's motto of Service Above Self is refreshed each year when the President's Handover takes place. Although officially on the 1st July we celebrated the new year slightly earlier on 27th June.
We met at our usual venue, Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club, to thank President Colin for all his work and achievements in 2022/23 and to welcome President Chrissie in anticipation of all she will lead us to in 2023/24.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is an intensive training programme, for 16 to 19 year olds, designed to develop the leadership skills of young people with potential. The course takes place in February at Devon County Council"™s Dartmoor Centre
