Club History: 2022-23...  

• 27 June 2023.  The last meeting of the Rotary Year coincided with a visit from the District Governor, Roger Heath, a donation to Bob Woods to help with new ropes for local church bells, a donation to Rev Danny Reed to support Helston Homeless and the award of a Paul Harris Fellowship to Rev Danny Reed for all the work he has done in the local community.

• 10 June 2023.  President Night.  Firstly, President Chris awarded a plaque and Honorary Membership to Rotarian David Platt for his long service to Rotary, especially for Twinning.
  Secondly, Past President Steve Ford awarded President Chris Butterill a Paul Harris Fellowship in recognition of his dedication and unstinting work to bring back service and fellowship to the Club, expecially after the three tumultous years since the pandemic in 2020.

• 30 May 2023.  Club members welcomed Rtn. Craig Little who was inducted as a member of the Club.

• 2 April 2023.  Club members continued work to refurbish the Whitewash walls of Helston.

• 28 March 2023.  We were delighted to welcome and exchange banners with President Des Hosken and members of the Rotary Club of Penzance.

• 21 February 2023.  Following the resignation of Chris Andrews, the Club elected Immediate Past President Chris Butteril as Club President and Rtn Steve Ford as Immediate Past President.

• 3 December 2022.  The Club resumed its annual Old Folks Party at Carleen Village Hall with support from the ladies of the Inner Wheel who made an excellent record of the event on their website here

• 2 August 2022.  The Club celebrated the well-deserved award of a Paul Harris Fellow to Past President Steve Ford for his unstinting and continuing service to the Club

• Our handover evening took place on 12 July 2022
