Supporting Shelterbox
Our fundraising in response to earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has promoted our club to Bronze Partner
In Turkey, support was provided to 2000 families affected by earthquakes. Reflief distributions were made in March, April and May, providing tents, mattresses, blankets, solar lights, bags and hygeine kits. Some vulvernable families received stoves.
In Northern Syria, support was provided to 990 households in the Aleppo area with tents, blankets, mattresses, solar lights, water carriers, base construction and cash assistance. An additional Aid Relief project provided 6000 blankets and mattresses to new arrivals into displacement camps in Idlib.
