Helping to End Homelessness - October 2023

A successful Bridge Drive to raise funds for Emmaus

Emmaus Cambridge

We were pleased to be able to present a cheque for £500 to Emmaus, as part of the proceeds from the Rotary Charity bridge drive in August.  Rotarians Jackie Cox and Andrew Holmes handed over a cheque this week.

Emmaus Cambridge is a local social enterprise supporting those who have found themselves homeless, by providing community and meaningful work. They claim an excellent rate of return of £11 for every £ invested!

They also have a well-stocked shop of very reasonably priced used goods and a cafe serving drinks and cakes. It's well worth a visit!

We wish them well with their continued support and once more thank all those who were involved with the bridge tournament.
