SUZANNE AND EFFIE REACH THE REGIONAL FINALSTwo of the four young musicians selected from
Ashby Rotary’s Young Musician 2024 competition to perform at the District event
won their classes. They were competing against many other musicians entered
from Rotary clubs throughout the District.
Harpist Effie Bowman won both the Junior Instrumental
Solo and the Junior Vocal Solo class.
Suzanne Iselin, playing the alto saxophone, was
the Intermediate Instrumental Solo winner.
Both of them now progress to the Regional Cluster
Competition 17 March which will be held at the Dixie Grammar School, Market
Bosworth.
We wish them continued success!
