Mercy Ships

Ruth Croome visits us to update on Mercy Ships

Ruth Croome with President Linda Facey

Our club were delighted to welcome Ruth Croome to talk about Mercy Ships.   These 'floating hospitals' have been working off the coasts of many war-torn areas (often in Africa) for decades, providing invaluable medical help for thousands of wounded civilians.

Torrington Rotary has supported Mercy Ships in the past, and we collected funds again at our meeting to donate.
