Pop up Pickleball

Wed, Jul 10th 2024 at 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm

It's not quite what you will see at Wimbledon, but very close.

Club members please log in for more information.

What is Pickleball?

It's a sport played with a racket that combines elements from badminton, tennis, and ping pong

The game is played on a court with the same measurements as badminton doubles. The net is similar to a tennis net, but a little lower.

Why is pickleball becoming so popular?

  • A new player can enjoy the sport and experience long rallies on the first day of playing.
  • Players with racket-sport experience will find that their skills transfer immediately.
  • More advanced players enjoy the fast-paced, competitive challenge that pickleball offers.

Would you like to keep active (Even in later life), then Pickleball may be for you.

We will be in the Sports Dome (Behind the Community College) from 18:45. Bring suitable clothing and footware if your wish to play.
