Local Community Support Grants

The Rotary Club of Rayleigh Mill collect money for local good causes throughout the year and are now giving out Local Community Support Grants (LCSGs).

If you are a local charity or good cause helping the local communities of Rayleigh, Hockley or Hullbridge we want to hear from you. We will be giving out LCSGs in amounts of between £100 and £500, so if you could use our help, tell us how you would spend the money. We will be giving out about £10,000 in total in small amounts so tell us why we should choose you.

To be eligible you must be based in Rayleigh, Hockley or Hullbridge because that is the designated area for our Rotary Club and where we collect money from local people, as well as raising money from various events such as our Santa Sleigh runs. Also you must be either a local charity registered in our area or a good cause supporting a group of 10 or more people in our local community.

In the first instance please email us at: grants@rayleighmillrotary.org.uk

with the following information by  Saturday 31st May at the latest as submissions received after this date or that are incomplete, will not be considered.

1.                  What is the full name of your organisation

2.                  Are you a registered local charity and if so what is your Charity Number?

3.                  What is the name of the best person in your organisation to contact and what is their telephone number and email address?

4.                  What is the address of your organisation?

5.                  Do you have a website and if so what is the address?

6.                  How does your organisation support the local community?

7.                  Can we please have a copy of your latest annual accounts (if they exist)? If not can you let us know your income and expenditure in the last 12 months?

8.                  How much money are you applying for? (We will be giving out amounts of between £100 and £500).

9.                  How would the money be used?

We expect to notify successful applicants by the end of June
