Restoration of Melbourne Brae Benches

First installed in June 1953 to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth and now restored in June 2023 the year of King Charles coronation.

Over the years St Andrews Rotary Club have lovingly painted the original benches.
Club member Joe Headon has now restored the benches after having them removed to build new flats adjacent.
