Fellowship Walk Glen Tilt report

Report with picture of Club walk in Glen Tilt

Rotary Club of St Andrews Fellowship Walk in Glen Tilt

Keen to enjoy the countryside, members and friends of the Rotary Club of St Andrews on 8th September walked into upper Glen Tilt near Blair Atholl.  They enjoyed views, signs of ancient life and a lot of chat.  They walked for 16 kilometres in 5 hours.  The Leader was Austin Dunn who said, "These walks are great fun.  You don't need to be fantastically fit to enjoy such superb country; you just need to appreciate the scenery and the history of the place".   A collie accompanied the walkers and covered at least twice as much ground!

From left to right in the photograph are: Hamish Tait, Alan Constable, Austin Dunn, Bruce Alexander, Ian Wilson, Dennis Hopper, Irene Constable, Jimmy MacGregor and Elizabeth Peacock. John Peacock is missing from the photograph.
