This photo below is of a similar borehole to one repaired by St Andrews Rotary Club.  It was funded by offerings at Holy Trinity then a matching grant arranged by Kilrymont Rotary Club. It is near a school so benefits pupils as well as villagers in general.  Even any spilled water is saved for animals to drink.

Our partner organisation in Cameroon, Foundation Bethleem has completed the repair of a borehole in the Far North Region of Cameroon. This will benefit the 6,000 people in the village of Taifara.  Two local workmen will be trained to maintain and repair the pump.  Some health and hygiene instruction is also being given to the villagers.
