Dundee Charity Gala Sale Day
The ninth Charity Gala Day takes place in Dundee High Street on Saturday 11th June 2016. There will be over 30 stalls representing some of the many voluntary and charitable organisations who work within the city and the wider community.
The concept behind the day is to give the voluntary sector a chance to raise money for their charity, or if that isn't appropriate, to raise the profile of their charity, with a view to spreading awareness, or encouraging new volunteers. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Dundee who pay for the stalls.
Absolutely all the money raised goes directly to the charities. The stalls provide a terrific variety of activities and items to buy, and with a bit of luck and some good weather we should have a terrific day in town.
