Membership is a key priority for all Clubs so they can continue their important Service work within their communities and internationally. These pages are suggestions to help in building your Club Strategy and Action Plan


The Building Blocks within your Strategy

We need to build on the foundations of the past 114 years, key things within any plan needs to ensure we include:

  • Objects of Rotary
  • Service above Self
  • Four Way Test
  • 5 Avenues of Service
  • Ensuring we are following compliance 
So as we consider building our strategy, there are three strands: Recruitment, Retention and Marketing.

Key Considerations:

  • The needs of our modern world
  • Fast moving society, where time and capacity is in short supply
  • Social Media plays an important part in the lives of many people today
  • Younger people will respond better to Cause Led projects
  • We need to work in partnership with our community
