Annual Putting Competition

For

The Keith Cup 2020

MONDAY 21st SEPTEMBER 2020 at 6.00pm

The Annual Competition for the Keith Cup was earmarked to be played in May

however the Covid -19 Pandemic and subsequent lockdown put paid to that.

We are now in a position to hold it in September and this is your invitation to take

part in a competition which has been played since 1951.

The Ladies Putting Club (The Himalayas) have certain do’s and dont’s which we

have to adhere to and they are as follows.

Himalayas recently re-opened on 8th August but only for four days Saturday to

Tuesday each week.

No forward booking by telephone or e-mail accepted but you can book on the day of

play.

Players must provide their own club, ball and pencil – cards will be provided.

Payment is by card only- no cash.

Social distancing must be observed at all times but particularly whilst waiting to start.

The date for this year is Monday 21st September 2020 at 6.00pm. Please put it in your

diary.

The LPC manager Kevin has to pass this through the club committee but he is certain

it will be agreed especially for regular users like our Rotary Club. The public times

end at 6.00pm but he has agreed to stay on until our competition is finished.

It would be helpful if I could have a rough idea of the numbers wishing to take part

so I will ask President Hamish via Zoom meeting on Wednesday 16th September to

have a show of hands and a quick count. Anyone not at the meeting can give me a

phone.

Hope you can make it.
