Cluster Finals of Young Musician, Young Chef and Youth Speaks will take place in late March (dates and venues to be confirmed).
The National deadline of submission for the non face-to-face competitions is Tuesday, 30th April 2024 and the face-to-face National finals (Young Chef, Young Musician and Youth Speaks) are being held over the weekend of 20th and 21st April 2024.
The Rotary Youth Competition Guidelines (for internal Rotary use only) have also been updated and are available in the Members’ Area (login required).
Themes for the 2024 competitions have now been announced.
‘Rebuilding Lives and Rebuilding Communities’ is one of three unifying themes Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (Rotary GB&I) is using to link all the service projects Rotary clubs undertake in and with their communities, and the people in them, locally, nationally and internationally. Hence four of the 2024 competitions have the same topic - "Rebuilding".
Young Writer - Rebuilding
Young Artist - Rebuilding
Young Photographer - Rebuilding
Young Film-Maker - Rebuilding
The 2024 theme for Young Environmentalist is "Waste Minimisation"
Young Chef - a 2 course meal costing less than £18.00 (changed from last year's 3 courses)
Musician - programme of music lasting up to 13 minutes (increased time allowance from last year)
