The Rotary Northeast All Ability Games are back - bigger and better. The event will be held at Middlesbrough Sports Village and our new patron Tanni Grey-Thompson will be in attendance as well as other noteable sports personalitues from our area.
Stokesley - The Rotary Club of Stokesley is fund raising for local charities by looking for sponsorship for Captain Mike Irving FNI (the Club’s founder President 40 years ago), Stokesley Rotarians, Associates and Friends to clock up a total of 10,000 miles walking.
Bishop Auckland - This is one of our most popular events each year. Ideal for an early Valentines! Contact Keith Black for tickets at firstname.lastname@example.org which cost £15 per head. The function assembly time is 7.00 pm for a prompt start at 7.30 pm.
Stokesley - Thursday 28 November 2019 will see our first Junior Technology Tournament, in Sunderland. In March, we ran our first Rotary Technology Tournament for senior schools and this was so successful that we will run one for primary schools.
Hexham - Lecture by Rob Caskie Hexham Rotary Club is organising a fantastic Lecture to be given by the South African, Rob Caskie in the Forum Cinema at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 23rd October. Tickets (£15) can be obtained online at forumhexham.com
Stokesley - Dr Andrew Aldrin (CEO of Aldrin Family Foundation), Rotarian Peter Chandler of Stokesley and Rotarian Jim Christensen of Titusville, Florida at Bring It On NorthEast 2019 - in its 3rd consecutive year, showcasing real-life engineering to schoolchildren.
Tynedale - In aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service held at Prudhoe Golf Club. Enjoy a good day of golf while supporting this great charity. Thanks to all at Prudhoe Golf Club for the course. Over £100,000 raised by Golf Tournament over the years.
