Final Results of National Youth Competitions 2023
I am pleased to report that our District entries won one First Prize and one Highly Commended in the National Finals of the Youth Competitions. All of the results have now been published.
In Young Artist, an amazingly complex piece of digital art depicting the progress from childhood to old age, entitled Sunrise/Sunset (Middlesbrough Erimus), was judged the best Senior entry.
In Young Photographer, a captivating image of a domed glass roof showed good use of reflected light and won a Highly Commended from the National judges.
Congratulations to all our winners and their sponsoring Rotary Clubs! The winners trophies, certificates and prizes are now with their supporting Clubs and will be presented within the next few weeks.

more The 2023-24 Youth Competition Information Packs and posters have now been uploaded and are available in both the public and members’ area of the Rotary GB&I website.
RYLA
more Bookings were very strong for RYLA 2023 at our new site, alongside Hannah's Meadow in Baldersdale, on the Cleveland Way. The two 5-day courses took place in August 2023 and the Presentation Evening is on 21st September 2023 at The Federation Brewery.

Rotary Youth Exchange
more No Youth Exchanges are expected to be organised by RGB&I this Rotary year, though our District is considering supporting young people wishing to participate in a STEP (Short Term Exchange Programme) Youth Exchange in 2024.
