Dear Rotarians and Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official webpage of Rotary District 1320 – Scotland South. As District Governor, I am honoured to serve and lead an incredible community of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in our communities and across the world.

Rotary is not just an organisation, but a vibrant movement that is built upon the foundation of fellowship, service, and ethical leadership and it continues to be a beacon of hope around the world. It is a global network of dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by the common goal of creating lasting change in our communities and beyond.

I am immensely proud of the incredible work that Districts 1020 & 1230 have accomplished in the past to uphold Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self", yet I am greatly enthused about the birth of our new District 1320 – Scotland South.

As I step into the position of the District Governor for 2023 -24, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve alongside many dedicated Rotarians who are committed to making a positive difference in our communities. Throughout my term, I am determined to establish an environment that fosters unity, promotes wellbeing and encourages collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation. I believe that by harnessing the diverse talents, skills, and perspectives of our members, we can achieve remarkable feats and impact countless lives.

Our District is home to a vibrant and dynamic community of Rotarians who are engaged in a wide range of projects and initiatives, from supporting local schools and healthcare facilities to empowering youth and promoting sustainable development. Our collective efforts have a transformative effect on those we serve and together, we will continue to strengthen our communities and build a brighter future for generations to come. Together, we have the power to transform lives, uplift communities, and foster peace and understanding across borders.
