Allander - Our signed Scotland Rugby Shirt raffle has been won by Debbi from Bearsden who bought winning ticket #45. Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket or donated. Over £300 has been raised for Kidney Kids.



Kirkcudbright - Rotary Kirkcudbright will hold another of their successful Cycle Sportives on Saturday 22nd July 2023. Riders of all ages are invited to enter the long, medium and short routes starting and ending in Kirkcudbright.

Annan & District - Saturday 24th June 2023 - 11am - 3pm In aid of Ukraine - Get donations for your dog on a sponsored walk at Powfoot. Choose your own route and distance

Dumfries - 30th Am-Am Charity Golf Tournament held at Dumfries and County Golf Club. Proceeds to Queen of the South Community Trust and Rotary Club of Dumfries Charity Fund.

Gryffe Valley - Route on country lanes between Houston, Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm, starting from Houston Public Park, for all abilities from serious runners to novices/joggers

Allander - Regretfully we have had to cancel the talk due to circumstances outside our control. "Icons of Scotland: the intriguing origins of Tartanry and Highlandism." A free talk by Scottish Historian Professor Sir Tom Devine.


Hawick - Area Final of the Young Chef competition at Peebles High School

Motherwell & Wishaw - Santa, and some Rotarian helpers, will tour Wishaw, spreading Christmas Spirit and raising funds for various charities.

Allander - Raffle for 3 hampers of food and drink in support of East Dunbartonshire Food Bank. Hamper content values now £140, £100 & £70 including alcohol worth £50, £37 & £25 respectively. Ticket £1. Draw 21st December.

Allander - Thanks to everyone who participated. We hope you enjoyed our events and winners enjoyed their prizes. Our charity fund raiser was a Tombola for adults and 'Pick a Duck for kids where everyone won a prize.

Kilmarnock - Volunteers to assist will be most welcome. Meet at The Well (old St. Ninians church) at 9.45 for 10am to collect tabards/pickers/sacks and briefing. Return by no later than 11.30am for coffee/cake/chat

North Berwick - Tour for classic and interesting cars of any age. The tour is sponsored by a number of organisations, and together with the contributions received from the entrants we raised over £12,000 for charity in 2021.

Allander - A wide range of lots under £10 to over £300 in value. Thanks to everyone who supported this charity fund raiser. Over £500 was raised for the 3 charities. Lots that were not bid for are being distributed to local and Scottish based charities.

Allander - Signed Andy Murray T Shirt. 250 tickets. Due to not enough sales the raffle was not held. We will look at a future 'paper' raffle in 2022.

Hawick - Handover of cheques as donations from Hawick Rotary

Penicuik - A Charity Golf Day in aid of Childrens Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) with teams of two competing for valuable prizes. The competition is played over Glencorse Golf Club and entry is open to all.

Allander - Online fun for Christmas 2020. Thanks to everyone who participated in the races. As a result of entries and donations we are pleased to say that a total of £312 has been raised for the charities that we were supporting.

Allander - Online Santa and Snowman races for children and adults. Tickets 50p with bonus tickets the more you buy. Total prize value now £130. Average prize value is over £9. Last entry midnight Sat 19th.

Hawick - Electronic tablets are presented to two local groups for help with those suffering from dementia or memory loss etc.

Hawick - Rotarian Ron Sutherland and his wife Pat will walk 32 km. in one day around the seven triangulation pillars, or trig points, near Hawick. Up hill, down dale . . . . and the 4 pm return has to be highly speculative!

Allander - The raffle is now closed and was won by Richard Johnson. £117 was raised for WheelPower from this on line raffle for a framed, signed Manchester United season 2017/18 shirt. £1 a go. Shirt supplied by Manchester United Foundation Ltd - letter included.

Kilmarnock - Reproduced with thanks to the Rotary EClub of One World who have shared their online meeting. Joan's talk relates her personal experience of contracting polio and the after effects.
Leith - Agnes Tewa the headteacher of Kambe Timboni Primary school in Kenya asked Leith Rotary Club for funding for mosquito nets for the 320 pupils and 11 staff. The nets were purchased in early October 2020 and delivered to the school.
