Mary's Meals are a Scottish charity that provides a hot school meal in developing countries so that children can learn. They work with local providers and volunteers and it costs £19 to feed one child for one school year - which is about the same as a cost of a meal out in Scotland.
Jedburgh Rotary and Mary's Meals are giving you the opportunity to donate a year's worth of school dinners by eating a meal (Veg Curry), listening to some great tribute acts and having fun with friends and other Rotarians (I understand that Jonny Cash may be there). It is at William Laidlaw Hall, Bonchester Bridge TD9 8JR on October 10th at 7ish. Tickets cost £15 and are available on Eventbrite
or phone 01835 864713, or email 101@JedburghRotary.club. To join in the spirit, come wearing black and white.
See you there
