About us

WELCOME TO ROTARY GOLBORNE

The Rotary Club of Golborne Lightshaw received its charter on February 23 2005, exactly 100 years after the first meeting of four like-minded individuals that led to the formation of the world-wide organisation now known as Rotary International.

We meet regularly on Tuesday evenings to enjoy each others company, listen to inspiring speakers, and keep up to date with happenings in our local community and communities further afield. We support a wide range of projects within our local community, as well as projects and good causes overseas.

If you would be like to know more about what Rotary is, and what Rotary does, and how the Rotary family of over 1.2 million members worldwide works to improve the lives of others less fortunate, then just get in touch by using the "Contact" tab at the foot of this page.  Someone will definitely get back to you.

If you would prefer to chat by phone then please contact Derek on 01942 262615
