Painting the Town Purple for End Polio Now

Rotary's most ambitious and inspiring Programme is to eradicate Polio completely across the world. On current progress that should be completely and permanently achieved by 2018.

The £5 Challenge

Club Projects

The Club is involved in many events that take place in Ampthill and its surrounding district. These include supporting other organisations and events such as the Ampthill Fireworks, the Christmas Lights Switch On, the Fire Station and Ampthill Gala.

Rotary Shoebox Appeal

The gift of a shoebox that contains toys, toiletries, educational items or household goods is a drop of happiness to the people of Eastern Europe who live in a world of poverty. For many, it will be the first present that they have ever received.

Kids Out

Every year, a lucky group of children are selected by headteachers of our local schools, as being worthy of a day out with their parents/carers. The Jigsaw Club kindly lend us their bus for transport to and from the zoo.

Club News

Ampthill & District Rotary Club hold many events during the year where we enjoy fun and fellowship. We also love to get involved in events within our community.

About us

Our Club meets in two groups that work together for many of our events. The original meeting takes place weekly in Ampthill. We also have a number of members who meet flexibly and aim to have a monthly get together. They keep in touch electronically in between. New members can choose which format suits them best when joining.
