6:45 for 7:00pm Speaker evening

A fire tender and full crew will be at our meeting and two firefighters in full 'battle-dress' will deliver a 'Fire Safety in the Home' presentation to our meeting.

The meeting will have to be arranged to accomodate our visitors:

The meeting time will be brought forward to 18:45
The tender and crew will arrive at 19:00
If the weather is suitable we have an option of going outdoors and viewing the tender and then have the lecture indoors or outdoors
If the weather is inclement (it is August!) we will invite 2 crew members to our meeting room where they will deliver their presentation with a short Q&A session
The crew will depart at approximately 19:45
Our evening meal will be served at approximately 20:00

The tender and crew are on call and if they get a shout they will immediately depart.
