Berkhampstead Rotary Club walking group spent a day in Wensleydale, first hiking in Wharfedale guided by members of the Wensleydale Rotary Club, then being introduced to Quoits in the evening

A group of walkers from  Berkhampstead Rotary Club have been spending several days in Wensleydale after seeking advice from members of Wensleydale Rotary. On Tuesday, they went hiking in Wharfedale. some of them guided on a round walk of almost 10 miles from Kettlewell to Littondale. guided by members of the Wensleydale Club.

On the evening of the same day, the Berkhampstead Rotarians joined their Wensleydale colleagues for a game of Quoits in Redmire, followed by a meal at the Bolton Arms nearby. It was the first time many of them had been introduced to Quoits, so a few initial throws went alarmingly astray, but no-one was hurt, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
