The Club bowling evening held at High Wycombe
An extremely enjoyable evening at High Wycombe Bowling Alley which clearly demonstrated that only a few of us have abilities in this sport. Gloria Holmes won the ladies prize with a very acceptable score and was presented with an enormous trophy as shown in the photographs. Steward Lait, appropriately dressed, demonstrated the value of brute force and won the men's prize by a whisker over runner-up Roy Page. Good to know that Stewart was presented with his prize of a bottle of wine while going through his May abstinence period.
