We warmly welcomed Charlotte Spring to tell us about her 10 year journey from being a school student to her support of the Otesha Project through a cycle ride which she had just completed. Ever since she was young she had been interested in sustainability issues as part of wanting to keep our planet healthy. Her work both, paid and voluntary, in Japan, France, Ghana, Algeria and well as in this country made her a fascinating speaker, and her enthusiasm for spreading the word to young and old about how we can all make a difference to the future of mankind was inspiring. Her bike ride for the Otesha Project http://www.otesha.org.uk/ was one way that she could spread the message through theatrical presentations to youth groups in Monmouth, Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham as she and 8 others slept in tents, on organic farms and even in a garden of a supporter of the project. We wish her well in her future studies and work as she strives to make the world a better place.
