Alan gave us an excellent talk on the the raising of the Mary Rose, her history and subsequent restoration.
Following the evening Alan's wife Nicola sent the following appreciative email:
Dear Madam President
Alan and I would like to thank you for the splendid cheque for the Mary Rose Trust which you gave us following Alan's talk on Tuesday evening.
We'd also like to thank you and your fellow Rotarians very much for your generous hospitality that evening. We enjoyed both the meal and the jolly company. We were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely time.

Every year we look for young people ideally aged 16-17 to send on this amazing leadership course run by Rotary which is not only fun but teaches many skills. Its normally in the summer but its never too early to express an interest.

Every year we run an exchange with a Rotary Club in our Twin Town of Braine L'Alleud where we stay in each other's houses, visit places of interest and generally have a wonderful time.
