Marco will speak about his work in Afghanistan in respect of the charity 'Schools for Afghanistan'.
Marco Niada is Chairman and co-founder of Comitato Arghosha Faraway Schools, a charitable organistaion that funds educational projects in Afghanistan since 2004. The organisation has funded until now 9 schools in the Bamiyan province hosting almost 4,000 pupils and 110 teachers. It has also funded teacher training programmes for 300 teachers and post diploma computer and English programmes for 60 girls. Marco and the other 3 members of the Committee travel to Afghanistan every year to follow the implementation of the projects. Since 2009 Marco is a partner of RLMFinsbury, a global financial PR Agency. Prior to that, from 1993 to 2008 he was the London Bureau Chief of the Italian financial Daily Il Sole 24 Ore. Until 1992 he was editor of International Corporate Finance for Il Sole 24 Ore (1989-1992) and from 1979 to 1989 he worked at the foreign desk covering Central Asia and the Far East.'What We Do' Main Pages:
