An independent media lawyer based in London with her own law firm set up in 1995, Angela Jackson specialises in feature films for clients including financiers, writers, directors, actors and independent production companies.
Angela Jackson has been involved in entertainment law training since 1992, when she took part in the East West Producers Seminars bringing free market practices to the merging film economies of Eastern Europe. She was director of legal affairs for the EU-funded Film Business School in Madrid in 1993-5. Since turning independent, Angela Jackson has continued a training strand, and has lectured and advised on training for clients including the National Film & Television School in London, Northern Arts in Newcastle, Media Xchange in Munich, the European Film College in Denmark and the Escuela Internacional de Cine Y Television in Havana. She is on the committee of the Keswick Film Festival.
Angela is fluent in German and French and speaks some Italian, Spanish and other European languages
