A group from the Interact Club of Llantwit Major, based in the local Comprehensive School, visited then club for a joint meeting held at the West House Hotel. The Interact members led by their President, Hannah James were welcomed to the Rotary meeting by Rotary President Mrs Mary Noyes. She said that her club was very proud of the great success of the local Interact club and continued to watch its progress with great interest. The club meets every Wednesday morning in school time and currently has forty members in years twelve and thirteen making it the largest such club in Wales and amongst the largest in Britain. Mrs Noyes said she was also grateful for the enthusiastic support of Interact members and for the strong support of the school
