Guest Speaker: Anthony Sykes, CEO Oracle Cancer Trust - Hybrid Endowments: offering predictable cash flows for charities
Anthony joined the Structured Finance Department of SMBC Europe (SMBCE) in London in 1993 and managed the Project Finance Infrastructure team until 2008, specialising in providing senior debt to PPP infrastructure projects. From 2008 until March 2015, Anthony was responsible for African coverage for the development of SMBCEs structured finance activities in Africa, including renewable energy.
He retired from the bank at the end of March 2015 and is now CEO of the Oracle Cancer Trust, which provides early stage funding for pioneering research projects into head and neck cancer.

Our Rotary Club was approved as Sponsor for the new Rotaract Club Imperial College. The Rotaract Club IC was established on 18 October 2011 as a college-based Club and the Certificate signed by the President Rotary International on 27th Feb. 2012.
