This week saw a small gathering for an indoor picnic at Kathryn's house - there was plenty of food and discussion about the year to come and the beginning of plans for our Fun Day next August, as it was informal there is little else to report.

We can report from social media that the Marconi project has not raised enough money, however the developers have given them more time and they will again be looking for pledges which may be brought forward for our consideration again.

Barrow Farm - our charity for this presidential year are in with a chance of getting £1,000 from Mars but need our votes.  Clicking the link below will take you to their page where you are asked to put in your DOB and email address, you then have the chance to OPT OUT of mailings from Mars before hitting submit. You do get an email with a confirmation link which you have to click for your vote to count.  You can only vote once from each email address.  This has been shared extensively online - feel free to do the same in local groups.
