It's what Rotarians do!
Last month, the Laughing Chilli Comedy Club organised a charity show for our chosen charity, Woking and Sam Beare Hospices at the nearby Magna Carta Arts Centre.
Over 210 persons had bought tickets for the show and packed into the theatre, with few seats to spare. Approached by the Hospice to assist with the event we readily agreed and we were asked to assist with car parking, ushering and selling ice creams during the interval.
The Comedy Club, based out the Riverside Arts Centre in Sunbury, plays to adult audiences and tours the country, so it was a special treat for the Hospice to be offered the opportunity for a charity night. It was a great evening and the Hospice raised over
