Senior Citizen's Christmas Tea Party December 2018

For 68 years seniors living in Witham have come to a tea party given by the Rotary Club of Witham.

It is a tradition, 68 years old, that the Rotary Clb of Witham invites seniors from the town to a tea party a few days before Christmas.  Besides tea, sandwiches, rolls, cake and mince pies, there is a chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and to enjoy the entertainment and even try singing along to old Vera lynne favourites and carols.

This year the seniors had all the usual fun of the tea - crackers and silly jokes, sanwiches, cakes, mince pies and so on.  Children from Howbridge Junior School performed Dickens' Christmas Carol and a small band played a range of jazz clasics.
