Lunch & discussion about Rotary Foundation with Keith Barnard-Jones
Mon 12th November 2018 at 13.00 - 14.00
An informal meal and discussion will address the question 'What is the heck is Rotary Foundation?' It is the major international charity run by Rotary which has been behind the campaign to eradicate polio worldwide, but is so much more than that.
The meeting will have a more informal format which is intended to allow more time for Keith to speak and then for a discussion to flow on from that, addressing the issues which are raised by the members present. The food will be of a finger buffet style, eaten without cutlery while Keith speaks and then during the discussion afterwards.
Rotary has recently been voted the best non-profit organisation in a major international vote. Details are to be found at www.rotary.org/en/rotary-wins-best-nonprofit-act-polio-eradication-work.
