Another visit for our President Jean Thompson. Today we called into the Aycliffe Town Centre Hub for the Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group. Allison White and Janice Goff plus other volunteers welcomed us warmly as always.

They told us of their new venture in Darlington, the opening of another shop in Northgate - opening times Mon. Wed. Frid. 9.30am until 2.30pm. As well as being a charity shop, part of the service is the offer of help with filling in forms for such as Power of Attorney, Blue Badge applications etc. Macmillan booklets in stock. All the above facilities are also available in the Aycliffe shop.
An open day at the Darlington Hub is planned on Saturday 2nd Sept. 10am until 3pm. Free hotdogs plus face painting, and a clown to entertain the little ones.
