ROTARY NEWTON AYCLIFFE ASSISTS LOCAL FOODBANK

Rtn Geoff Batchelor answered a call for assistance from Vicky Bain and Margaret Corrigan who run the foodbank (The Trussell Trust) at St. Clare's Church Hall. The foodbank was desperately short of toiletries so with an offer of help from Geoff and Rotary Newton Aycliffe, they were soon up and running and able to stock their shelves again. Geoff has offered further aid for the coming weeks.
