We attended the Royal Braemar Highland Gathering on 1st September and welcomed a number of Rotarians from around the world. The usual car raffle was run on the entrance road to the event and we sold a record number of raffle tickets.

Banchory Rotary"™s Young Musician Competition, run in partnership with Banchory Academy, was held before Christmas for the first time, at Woodend Barn on Monday 5th December. This successful annual competition will continue in 2017.

Young Musician 2015 was held on 29th January in the Banchory Christian Fellowship Church. Fifteen performers from Banchory Academy provided a very talented and varied repertoire to a full house of nearly 300 people.

2013 Banchory Young Musician
Academy pupils compete annually in the Young Musician competition which is organised and sponsored by Rotary. Local winners then move onto the regional and sometimes even the national finals.
