About us

Westcliff Rotary Club has a vision to make a difference to the area it represents.

The members of the Club have a huge knowledge of the area, many have or still are in business and have a high standing in the community.

No member is in this for self gain, it is to help the community and this has been proved by the excellent Charities we have raised huge sums for. Mushroom Theatre which helps young people prosper in Dance, Drama, singing and music theatre has been one of our charities for a while now and even over lockdown raised over ????

Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and Aspirations a local homeless charity are just some of the excellent Charities Westcliff-On-Sea Rotary is helping. Remember by giving to a Rotary club all the proceeds go to the Charity, we do not have any paid employees the members are in this to Make a difference.

The only reward we get is knowing people in need have been helped.

Every year we run a Christmas sleigh where Santa Claus talks to the local families and again this raises huge sums for the charities.

We will be running the Young Chef competion and details are on this web page.

Joint President Vidya is looking to set up an Interact club so many of the youth projects can be led by the young people themselves with of course support from us as the sponsoring Rotary Club.

Our club is also about fun and we meet regularly for meals and social events.

Please do contact us for a friendly chat to see if you would like to come along and join us, to see if Rotary membership is for you. In joining you will part of a worldwide organisation and doors will open to so many opportunities.

The Vision for Joint president Vidya Sanakal and Jonathan Garston is to simply grow the club with likeminded committed members who will continue to make a difference to so many worthwhile charities.
