About us

Update: April was a quieter month as we prepared for the start of 2 new service projects.  We met for breakfast at Joey’s Brunch Bar and the Sun Hotel, a group of us went to the comedy night at the Town Hall and our walking group was walking!  We also had a great presentation from the Interact group in Luton.

The 2 new projects are “Better Beginnings for Babies” which is fund raising for the neo-natal unit at the Lister – if we get it right then we will bring a sizeable donation from Rotary’s Foundation charity into our local hospital.  The 2nd project is about monitoring the quality of the water in our rivers organised by our Environment group, more about this next month.  Come and meet us in Joeys if you’re passing.

And of course, our community team runs the amazing Carer's Cafe every Friday in Church House.  It's award winning you know.

We are always looking for people of action who want to make an impact.  Look at our "What We Do" page and our active Facebook page to see what we are up to this week.

You can find out a lot more about Rotary in the UK from our main UK website.
