President's Post Christmas Walk

Around the Burton Wastelands with Lawrence Oates
The walk, a gentle potter of 11⁄2 to 2 miles, will be led by Laurence Oates of the Burton Conservation Volunteers, who will tell us of interesting facts and the history of the area.
The Washlands are notorious for flooding, so there is a back-up plan just in case. way we will end up at President Bob’s house on Ashby Road for well-earned refreshments.

Logan Boam plays as a defensive midfielder in the U14’s team of Burton Hockey Club which has won every game so far this season. He has been nominated as player of the match on at least one occasion and was Player of the Year 2023/4
